Chapter 106--- An unexpected arrival

It was early morning she put her feet out of bed and opened the curtains to let the sun light come in. An excited Naina came running down from her room to the hall. Her parents were back from their long vacation and she was just dying to meet them, especially her father who she missed the most. It was now 8:am and every one was in the hall sitting for breakfast Naina came running and said
Naina: (excited) yeah yeah Daddy and Mom are coming back today i cant wait (she had a smile across her face from ear to ear)
Akash: (picked her up and said) yeah today your dads back. i am sure he has lots of presents for you
Naina: (eyes sparkled hearing presents she said) wow i forgot about that now i am more excited
every one chuckled at the little one and her cuteness and then Anjili said
Anjili: Chalo come on now come and have your breakfast baby
Naina came running to the table to eat her fruit loops and milk as she blabbered about how excited she was to see her parents again.
Meanwhile Arnav and Khushi had caught the flight back from Rome to London in the morning. They too were excited to be back home to see the family and to meet Naina. Arnav missed his baby so much everyday that they were away he would talk to her and Khushi too, being away from Naina was difficult for her. But now finally they would be getting back home to their family. As they touched down London they made their way to the car with their luggage and headed of to RM. While they were driving back home Khushi was looking out of the window happy to be back she said
Khushi: i am so happy to be back home finally (she said with a smile as she curled up in Arnav's arms)
Arnav: (kissed her forehead) me to sweet heart i am also happy
Khushi: but Arnav the holiday was amazing thank you so much
Arnav: no Khush you dont have to say thanks at all i did for you for us so we spend time together (he said with a smile)
Khushi: (smiled back at him and then said) your the best
Arnav: (smirked) tell me something i dont know
They reached home the driver removed the luggage and Arnav and Khsuhi went to ring the door bell. James the butter was going to go to open the door when Naina came in running to open the door before him and as she opened it she had the biggest smile on her face as she squealed in delight
Naina: Your back home !!!
Arnav and Khushi were so happy to see the little munchkin Naina looked so cute Arnav picked her up and said with a smile
Arnav: yeah princess we are back (he said kissing her cheek)
Naina: i missed you guys so much (she said kissing him back)
Khushi: we missed you too (she took her from Arnav and Naina hugged her)
The family came down and every one was so happy to see Arnav and Khushi back
Nani: Chottey good to see you both
Arnav: good to see you too nani
Anjili and Ritesh came and hugged them
Anjili: Chottey Khushi how was your holiday
Khushi: good di i had so much of fun and it was great
Anjili: good i am so glad (she smiled and caressed her cheeks)
Arnav: whats up jijaji how are you doing
Ritesh: all good your daughter has been keeping me company while you were away she is such a doll
Naina: yeah daddy you know uncle Ritesh is soo cool when i would miss you he would tell me stories
Arnav felt bad for leaving her behind like that they missed her too. Naina noticed and said in her childish cute voice
Naina: its ok now your here and i am so happy (she said with a smile) besides daddy how many gifts did you buy me (she said arching her eye brow the way he did)
They all started laughing away and Khushi said
Khushi: Naina !!
they all sat in the living room and had lunch together then Arnav Khushi Naina and Dimsim went back to the apartment.Days past by after they returned and both of them had gone back to their normal routine Khushi would get up in the morning to wake Naina for school. She would prepare food for Arnav and would wake him up for office life was back to normal and it was good t be back. Arnav too had gotten busy with work he wasnt there for so long and had to come up to date with the work that was going on in office. Thankfully all thanks to Akash he was in speed quickly.
It was a Friday morning and Khushi was as usual making Arnav's black coffee Naina had gone to school and Arnav was up getting ready. She was boiling the milk when suddenly she started to feel sick and nauseated. Khushi tried to ignore it for sometime but it kept becoming stronger and stronger to such a point when she ran to the sink and threw up quickly. Arnav was coming down when he saw her throw up he came running to her
Arnav: Khushi (he said worried)
he went and started patting a coughing khushi who just wasnt stopping, and then again she thre up Arnav handed her a towel and a glass of water and rubbed her back he was so worried. Finally she stopped and had the water and wiped her face and then Arnav said
Arnav: what happened (he said worried)
Khushi: i.. i dont know (she said feeling sick again) i feel sick ever since we came back i am feeling like  this
Arnav: you better go see the doctor, i will come with you
Khushi nodded and then went to the fridge to remove a piece of lemon and started sucking it
Arnav: (confused) why are you sucking lemons
Khushi: i have know idea why but it makes me feel good (she sucked the lemon making satisfying noises with her eyes closed) mmm
Arnav: (rolled his eyes and said) khush you are super strange
Khushi couldnt bother she was lost in her lemon when suddenly she opened her eyes and said with shock
Khushi: I havent had my period this month
Arnav: looked towards her confused
Khushi: (rolled her eyes and waked his shoulder and then said) Arnav i skipped my period i am feeling pukish and i love lemons (she said trying to hint to him)
Arnav: so... (still not understanding)
Khushi: so (she started off confident and then said in a soft voice) i think i am pregnant
Arnav: (shocked) What The !!
both of them looked at each other and neither of them had a clue of what to say to each other. there was silence when Khushi broke it and said
Khushi: i have a pregnancy test up we can... (she indicated)
Arnav: ok do the test
Khushi nodded as they went up to their room. Khushi and Arnav both breathed hard both super confused and waiting to see what happens she took a deep breath and then said
Khushi: i'll go take the test
Arnav nodded his nervousness evident on his face khushi ripped open the packet and took a deep breath and went in Arnav was super tensed what would the result be. what if it was positive they would have another child another baby a smile came on his face until he thought of what if t was negative.. he was in deep though until he heard the door open and she came out holding the test
Arnav: what is it
Khushi: it hasnt said anything as yet the box says we need to wait for 5 mins
Arnav nodded khushi came close looking scared and then said in a soft voice
Khushi: what if it comes positive, do you want this baby (she said looking scared)
Arnav: (noticed he took a deep breath and then said) yes off coarse i do, its our baby Khushi. (he said with a husky voice saying his feelings out)
she sighed and then smiled a bit taking a sense of relief she was scared if he didnt want it. she looked up to see him, he was tensed she asked
Khushi: what happened
Arnav: (looked towards her and said) huh uh.. i am just thinking what if its negative
Khushi: (caressed his face and then said) Arnav dont worry if its negative we can try again
Arnav nodded it was about time they checked Khushi held his hand both the lovers took a deep breath and turned over the test to see a big fat red plus sign. A smile came on both their faces as they saw the positive result they let out the air inside them and turned towards each other and then Khsuhi said in a meaningful voice
Khushi: i am having your baby Arnav Singh Raizada. I am pregnant (she smiled)
Arnav pulled her in his arms with out wasting any time and hugged her. A tear fell from her eye as she smiled on his chest. they felt each other and it felt great.
Arnav: Khushi i am so happy. This is the best news ever
Khushi: Arnav i cant believe we are having a baby (she said teary eyed)
As they pulled apart Arnav wiped her tears he knew those were tears of joy and happiness. he smiled and kissed her forehead and then went down on one knee and rapped his arms around her stomach he kissed it and then said
Arnav: Daddy cant wait for you to come i am going to take such good care of you
Khushi smiled at his words and then put her hand on her belly Arnav got up and put his hand over hers as he kissed her passionately with her as a gesture of a promise. Khushi pulled apart and then said
Khushi: Arnav our family is going to be complete
Arnav: yeah it is Khushi and we are going to live happily with our daughter and our new born (he put his hand on his stomach)
She smiled and hugged him tightly this was the best gift that devi maya could ever give
