It was morning, arnav told khushi that today naina shouldn't
go to school as they wanted to make the announcement about the wedding to
everyone, and she was going to be a big part of it, khushi and arnav got ready,
khushi was so excited, she removed her knew white and pink salwar kameez, and
did her hair up for the occasion, arnav too excited, it was around 9:00 am and
everyone was having breakfast anjili wondered why her chottey was not in
office, he usually left at 8, but he told her that he would tell her during
breakfast. Khushi met arnav outside his room, he complimented her on the
salwar, and she blushed like usual and then they both made there way down,
As they descended the marble stairs of the raizada mansion,
everyone looked at them, they walked down like a prince and princess with sheer
royalty, as they reached down anjili asked
Anjili: chottey, khushi whats the occasion, (she looked at
khushi) khushi I must say you look beautiful
Khushi smiled at her and thanked her for the compliment as
arnav spoke
Arnav: di, khushi and I have an announcement to make
Nani: what announcement chotte
Arnav: nani, yesterday, when everyone found out about our
relationship, it put me through great thought and after a lot of contemplation
khushi and I came to the conclusion that (he held khushi's hand at that point)
that we want to get married
As he made the announcement, the family rejoiced, anjili and
nani hugged arnav and khushi, akash and payal congratulated them nk and naina
fed mithia to them, anjili could not believe her brother was getting married,
and that to, to such a nice girl like khushi, she was thrilled, they all welcomed
her to the family
Anjili: (smiling) khushi I have always considered you as a
friend, but from now on you are my sister in law, welcome to the family
Khushi: (hugged her) thank you anjiliji,
Anjili: no way from now on you will call me di
Khushi: (laughed and nodded) ok di
Payal also hugged her
Payal: khushi you can consider me also as your sister, your
elder sister
Khushi obliged her, akash hugged arnav and congratulated
him, meanwhile anjili went to her room and brought out a bangle box for khushi,
she presented the bangle box to her, khushi looked at arnav and he smiled he
knew what those bangle were for and who they were from
Anjili: khushi, these bangles were left behind for chottey's
wife by our mother (she touched the box and smiled but still tears ran from her
eyes remembering her mother) khushiji this is for you, mama has left you a note
as well, please take care of what is rightfully yours
Khushi: (she smiled and took the box) di thank you so much,
I will take care of this and gard it with my life, thank you so much
Nani: its ashirwaad betiya, from your mother in law, if she
was here today she would have been so happy to see her chottey getting married,
she would be so happy (she also started crying)
Arnav: (consoling them) nani di, its ok, I miss mom too, I
really do, come on di stop crying I am here with you please stop crying
After a whole lot of melodrama, finally the conversation
arrived to the wedding planning, everyone was so excited
Arnav: di khushi and I will get married by the end of
august, this should give you a month to prepare,
Anjili: (excited) yes boss, oh khushi this is so exciting,
first things first we should plan all your outfits, especially your wedding
one, there is a new wedding collection by Manish Malohtra, we can ship one from
India if you like
Khushi: (hesitant) uh di, can I be honest with you, I told
arnav that I would like to design my own wedding lengha, if you don't mind,
Anjili: (smiling) off corse khushi, if that's what you want
then, its perfectly fine, feel free to do what you like, its you wedding (she
smiled and caressed her cheeks)
All the discussion went on for long, and the men were
getting very bored, so they left the women to talk, they headed off to the pool
area, to chill naina went along with them,
Nk: so nainu, u excited, your parents are getting married
Naina: off corse chachu, (she smiled) and after the
wedding,we get to keep daddy
Akash giggled and arnav picked his little one up and hugged
her
Arnav: (hugging her) so my princess, you want to keep me
Naina: off corse daddy, we will live like one big happy
family (she smiled)
Arnav agreed with her and cuddled her up
It was around 5:00 clock, all the preparations were decided,
arnav was alone in his room when khushi came with the bangle box, he was busy
on his laptop, as she entered she walked to him and said
Khushi: arnav, at least now leave your laptop
He looked up at her confused
Khushi: I have so much to tell you and discuss with you, and
you are so busy on your laptop (she go annoyed)
Arnav: what is it love
Khushi: (sarcastically) you know you should marry the laptop
and make it your wife
Arnav chuckled at her innocence and then pulled her down on
his lap and put his hands around her waist
Arnav: tell me honey what is it
Khushi brought out the bangle box from behind and showed it
to him as he saw it a wave of emotions ran through his mind
Khushi: (low voice) arnav, I want to open this box with you,
there is a letter, and I want you to read it with me
Arnav: (touched by her words, but knew he couldn't read it)
khushi, I am touched by your words but I cant read this letter
Khushi: (confused) why not baby
Arnav: look I cant read the letter, I mean it's from my
mother and...
Khushi: (interrupted) and what arnav, don't you want to know
what your mother wrote to me, come one please I promise, if you feel
sentimental, we will stop that minute,
Arnav; khush its not that easy I mean, it'll bring me back
to memory lane with her
Khushi: sweet heart, see I know that if I had a letter like
this from my parents I would defiantly read it with my husband, because I would
die to know what my parents have written to him, but I also do understand that,
you are sentimental about it so, I wont push you further, (saying this she
kissed him on his cheek and went back to her room to read the letter)
