Chapter 59--- bonding

Two months had passed by arnav khushi and naina were had settled in and were the most happiest people ever, naina switched schools and went to a school nearby home, she made lot of friends, khushi was busy with the boutique, arnav had gifted her the company as a wedding present and naina had chosen the name, she was specializing in bridal gowns and was doing extremely well, arnav was as usual making big turnovers from his business, and everything was going well, khushi would wake naina up for school and the car would drop her, meanwhile she would wake her husband up, they would fool around every morning for a bit, and he would get ready and go to office, khushi would finish the house chores and would leave for the boutique, by around 5 she would be back naina would come home from school and would play with her friends in her doll house and by evening she would wait at the front door for her father to come home, at exactly 6 pm the door bell would ring, and naina would run to open it and she would leap into arnav arms, arnav would cuddle her up and the father daughter dough would discuss about their day, after dinner khushi and arnav would tuck naina into bed and then would go to their room to make love and fool around with each other,

They had developed a routine and it was a very nice routine one which had time for both work as well as love, life couldn't have been more magical

It was a Friday morning and naina was on her way to school, arnav dropped her to school in his car as he had to leave early for work,  naina was quiet today, which was quite odd, because she would always have something to say, arnav noticed it, he noticed her looking out of the window staring at the kids who were riding cycles, arnav asked

Arnav:  what happened princess

Naina: (looking towards him) nothing daddy (she said innocently)

Arnav: why are you so quiet

Naina: (rubbing her eyes she said) I am sleepy

arnav smiled at her, they reached school and naina got off, as she left the car, arnav saw her go into the scool building and then drove off to office, as he reached he called khushi up and spoke to her

arnav: khush where are you

khushi: at the boutique, why

arnav: hey lets grab lunch today

khushi: ok, I'll come to office

arnav: no, lets go out, I'll see you outside royal china at 2

he disconnected the call, meanwhile, khushi on the other side wondered what happened to her husband, usually he is very busy in the afternoon so how will he get time to meet her out for lunch, her thoughts were interrupted by one of the designers,

it was now 2 o clock, and khushi waited for him, he came and then they both went in, the manager showed them to the table and arnav began ordering the food, once he was done khushi asked

khushi : honey what happened, how come lunch today

arnav: uhm, actually I was a bot worried about naina

khushi: naina!! (she exclaimed) what happened is she ok

arnav: (calmed her down) ya she is fine love don't worry,

khushi: (confused)so then

arnav: well actually, I was dropping her off to school today and I saw her looking out of the window at the kids who were driving cycles to school, khush I think she was a cycle, and we should get her one

khushi: (a bit skeptical) uhm, arnav, I don't know, I mean I am not too keen on it

arnav: why no (he raised an eye brow)

khushi: well what if she falls or something, I mean what if she gets hurt

arnav: khushi I'll teach her how to drive the cycle don't worry,

they spoke about this for a long time and arnav finally managed to convince his wife that they should get naina a cycle, after lunch they went to one of the most finest cycle stores and picked up a cycle for naina,

it was evening and naina was as usual waiting for her dad to come back home, as soon as the door bell rang she jumped up to open it, when she opened the door right there in front of her was a blue and white cycle with had blue tassels from the handle, hanging down, she ran towards it and touched the cycle smiling away happily, arnav had entered from the back door and he came with khushi to the front porch to see naina's reaction, as they came out they saw a smile on her face, she ran to arnav and khushi and asked excitedly

naina: is that for me

arnav: (smiled) yeah princess that's for you

naina: really (she exclaimed)

khushi: (chuckling) yeah baby its for you

she hugged them both and screamed in joy

naina: thank you, thank you thank you, you are the bestest in the whole world (she claimed)

arnav and khushi started laughing and hugging her, then she ran to the cycle and sat on it, and started to peddle slowly, she had no such problem in the beginning as she had training wheels on, from tomorrow arnav was going to remove the training wheels and teach her

it was Saturday morning and naina went up to her dad and woke him up from his sleep, a sleepy arnav rubbed his eyes and saw naina sitting on his belly

arnav: princess its only 8 why are you up so early (he said in a sleepy voice)

naina: (in excitement) daddy you have to teach me today get up

arnav turned to khushi who had opened her eyes hearing them, she made a face at him and he got up from bed to freshen up, finally after breakfast, he took naina out to practice khushi joint them, at first naina was reluctant as she was bit scared without the training wheels, but arnav had held the cycle and she was peddling slowly

naina: daddy, don't let go, I'll fall

arnav: I wont princess, you keep riding

naina continued to peddle and khushi cheered

khushi: come on, baby your doing fine

slowly arnav started to release her , naina was shaking and was about to cry she said

naina: you said you won't let go (almost in tears)

arnav stopped the cycle and she looked at him with tears in her eyes, he wiped her tears and said

arnav: why are you so scared princess

naina: what if I fall (she said worried)

arnav: (looked at her and took a deep breath and said) your dad is never going to ever let you fall,

naina: (paused and then said) promise

arnav: promise

they again got on to riding at first he was holding her and then slowly he started to release the cycle and she was again shaking, naina was scared, but arnav kept motivating her

arnav: come on princess your doing fine,

naina: are you sure daddy (she said shakily)

khushi: baby see for yourself your riding the bike on your own

it took a few seconds for her to registered and then she said in a happy tone

naina: omg, omg I am actually riding it, daddy look I am riding my bike look mom I am riding my bike (she chanted)

arnav and khushi were so happy, seeing the expressions on her face, arnav brought out his Nikon camera and started clicking pictures, this was something he would love naina to see this when she grows up
