Chapter 72-a twist

It was 9 pm, and everyone was at the hotel, akash payal nk arnav khushi and naina were all seated at the table anjili was a bit late as she was out with her friend and said that she would meet them directly for dinner, they all sat on the table and started to order the food

Meanwhile ritesh and his secretary Alisha walked in to the restaurant, ready for a big business meeting; it was a big deal for ritesh to get this client on board with his business, as they would open new routes for him, and he would have to travel to London more often,

Alisha: sir, I will meet you at the restaurant directly I need to use the rest room

Ritesh nodded and Alisha left to the other direction,

He was walking into the lobby when he bumped into anjili who was wearing a long white dress and was looking absolutely stunning in it, her slim petite figure was visible and ritesh couldn't take his eyes off his sexy ex wife, anjili who saw him also felt the same, he was in a nice black Armani blazer and was looking very hot, there was silence for a good 2 minutes and then riesth said

They both started walking towards the lift, the restaurant was at the top floor of the hotel, ritesh pressed the lift button and both waited in silence, the lift came down and the doors opened. Anjili got in and ritesh followed, then he pressed the button of the top floor and the lift began to go up, there was more silence in the lift as each wished this would end soon, it felt like the journey from the ground floor to the top floor took like forever, anjiil fiddled with her hand bag and ritesh fidgeted with his phone, and then suddenly

BAM!!!

The lights went off, it was dark and anjili and ritesh were stuck in the lift,

Anjili: omg!! (she said worried) whats going

Ritesh: the lights have gone

Anjili: so that's means we are stuck here (scared)

Rietsh: ya I am afraid so

Anjili started to panic and feel scared and started to cry, ritesh seeing her like that was more worried,

Anjili: what are we going to do

Ritesh: anjie relax its fine, I will see if I get network then we can call the hotel and tell them we are stuck

He looked at his phone and then tried to call, but because they were already on a high altitude he couldn't get though to any one

Ritesh: (annoyed) shit!! Damn it !!

Anjili: what!! What happened?

Ritesh: no network (he said depressed)

Anjili started to cry more and ritesh couldn't see her like that, he tried to console her

Rietsh: anjie its ok, its fine, the lights will come on and we will get out of here, don't worry

Ritesh unable to see her like this pulled her in his arms and hugged her tightly, she too without realizing hugged him back, as they were in a tight embrace they both felt warm and safe, anjili felt protected in his arms, she without realizing snuggled closer to him, he too felt so good, he missed having her head on his chest, oh how he long for this magical feeling even if it was temporary he loved it, he cried on his chest and he tried to console her by doing what he does best teasing her

Ritesh: anjie whats the big deal, so what the lights have gone

Anjili: how can this not be a big deal, THE LIGHTS HAVE GONE, AND WE ARE STUCK IN A LIFT IN THE MIDDLE OF NO WHERE

Ritesh: bah!! Its nothing to worry about, I am so excited to be here, I have never gotten stuck in the lift like this, its an experience,

Anjili: your crazy habbits still haven't gone (she said hitting his chest, playfully forgetting her worry)

Ritesh: no whay would they go, they are very much there, (he laughed at her, and then he suddenly said) hey anjie do you remember what we had decided once

Anjili: (looked up at him confused) what !!

Ritesh: don't you remember we told each other that if we ever get stuck in a lift together we would.... (and then he stopped remembering what he was about to say)

Anjili and ritesh were married and had just made love to each other the previous night, after some mind blowing love making, they lay snuggled up in each others arms and were lying on the bed, when ritesh said all of a sudden

Rietsh: anjie, you know what, making love in crazy places like the office and the bathroom are quite normal now, do you know what will be really crazy

Anjili: what (she said excited)

Ritesh: in an elevator

Anjili: what (shocked) that's too risky, what if the elevator suddenly opens and there are 1000 people waiting outside

Ritesh: (laughing) anjie don't you think your over reacting, 1000 people honestly

Anjili who remembered the whole incident suddenly out of nowhere started to laugh and ritesh joint in, they both started to laugh uncontrollably remembering how silly they were

Anjili: (forgetting everything said) we were so silly weren't we

Ritesh: ya we were, I can't believe we wanted to do it in an elevator

Anjili: hey you wanted to (she hit his chest)

Ritesh: ya but you agreed (he chuckled)

Anjili: ya I did (she admitted)
